In our new home the walls are BM Chantilly Lace. We painted the ceilings flat extra white.

Ceilings: flat/Ultra Flat Ceiling White - BM Waterborne Ceiling 508 or SW equivalent

I think I would like a white ceiling, but Greek Villa would look good too. Easier to paint.

Extra White is a cool white.

Maybe Pure White would be better.

Understand there is a cost to splitting the two (labor & materials to tape off, labor to paint another day, and slightly more paint.

Check w large samples of both colors each on wall and ceiling surfaces and then determine if the cost and time is worthwhile.

Not a pro....but...I love the contrast a white ceiling lends to a painted room.
