Thought I would post this as a curiosity. I don't come across a lot of Royal Burgundy Cherries in the area, so I have no idea how frequently this reversion might occur. This was an older, well established tree with several reverted branches scattered throughout the crown. Royal Burgundy itself is apparently a branch mutation of Kwanzan, so I assume the reverted branches would be identical to Kwanzan.
