I'm wondering if anyone here has knowledge or experience they could share - we have a parking pad in our laneway, and are considering trying to build a garage on it, with a second floor music studio above it. From I can see the normal guidelines for garages in Toronto don't allow for second storeys, but do allow for full laneway houses, so this seems like an odd rule. Maybe I've misunderstood? Does anyone know where to start with this?
