It would not have been my first thought but in a closer examination, that seems quite plausible, given what appears to be a corm at the base of the plant on the left photo and with the general etiolation and off-coloring from being grown indoors rather than out in the sun.

I don't have another suggestion but it's really tall even for a Gladiolus. If that is what it is, it should make an inflorescence soon.

Probably tall due to low light. Not suited to indoor conditions.
