I did mine gray - it suited the cape cod home & location but I much prefer wood tones. My choice would be the last one without a border

What else is being replaced besides the top decking? Can we get a picture of the deck from inside the home?

We’re replacing everything and adding a hip roof with white columns (like the picture) and black aluminum railing.

Gray will not go out of style. Many people use cedar for fences which evolves into a silver.

If you are concerned than use the combo you picture in the first photo.

@User Wow, to your point the English Walnut looks much lighter than the sample we have. I think that's beautiful!

@millworkman Apologies, they demolished the deck yesterday however I've included a picture of what it looks like looking down from upstairs and also what the new roof and columns will look like (although we'll have aluminum black railing)

One other thing I will say: I wish I had gone for some contrast. I think faux decking looks better if you choose white for the fascia, risers and posts (or whatever color matches your house trim).

Since these boards have a little less variation in color compared to real wood, using it for literally everything kind of wound up being too much of one look.
