A Simple Hedge Row, arborvaete for a tall screen effect or something colorful like a burning bush hedge, even forsythia for Spring color.

Not burning bush! It's invasive. I'd plant a row of native shrubs along the road of along side the house going down the hill. For the back facing the lake, I'd put in a few trees. If your views are good, place the trees to not block them.

Native trees and perennial beds. Where are you located? We need some info like general area and nearest city in order to make specific recommendations. I am guessing the side with all the windows is facing the lake and the side that looks like a back of a house with the electrical, etc. boxes is facing the street?

Patio off of back doors, built in outdoor kitchen, black patio table and chairs upholstered in black, white and yellow pattern and small plantings along the length of the home.

Consider adding decorative gable brackets on the two peaks either in natural wood or black. Maybe also add a garage pergola over one of the large windows in the same material as the gable bracket to add some dimension. It looks like you have concrete patio, maybe add pavers, or something a little more upscale to compliment the setting of being by a lake. Hire a professional landscaper to give you some ideas for low maintenance landscaping that can be done in phases. For side of house, maybe a horizontal slat fence that would block view of all the utilities and then again repeat materials used for the architectural details suggested above. Then add some evergreens. Beautiful home.

I would do a grove of trees with a few deciduous mixed in, giving it some spring and fall color.

I would first change the light over the window to a warehouse style, paint the lower columns white to match the rest, decide on what is the best path back from the lake so you can create one. To be honest with this much area to cover I would consult with a local landscape company.

Evergreen shrubs and/or trees in front of your utility boxes on the side of your home will give you year round coverage as opposed to deciduous trees.

This is quite a vast project, and with such a heavily sloping terrain, a challenge. People can suggest plants or whatever, but you really need a professional consultation if you want anything more than trees or shrubs scattered around. A pro can design a scheme that will take best advantage of your views, be knowledgable about drainage, recommend and/or install hardscaping, design for the scale of your house, design plantings/other in a cohesive way geared to your wants, needs, and lifestyle, and on and on.

The house is so large, just planting a few things with no real plan will look inadequate and underwhelming.

If it’s not an option to hire a pro, at least provide much more detailed photos and relevant information, including what your skill level is regarding planting and taking care of plants.

We also ended up with a large white wall with utility boxes when we repainted. Paint them white, as a start. It does help. Your windows are nicely aligned on that side, which is a big plus.
