Small stems with 3-5 leaves are falling off my very old hickory tree. They have a small “growth” right where they broke off. I don’t see any kind of damage (like having been eaten) to the leaves but there are a lot! Does anyone know what this is? Should I be concerned? And is there anything that will fix it?
