First daylily for the season!

Here is Before, my first bloom. It hadnt bloomed for two seasons, bad placement and then a move…..it knew it had to show up now.This is a small plant with six inch bloom, it matched stats today……stats say 16” scape, mine are 20”…..yippee, matched stats and then some. The pink is usually more saturated, will see what future blooms look like. From what I see in the rest of the gardens, it will probably be about 2 weeks till I see more.

So exciting to see those 1st blooms. I am purely selfish in thinking though, that the later your are, the more time I will enjoy them when mine finish 🥴

Hooray for the beginning of your season! That's a nice a first bloom, and how wonderful that it's scape is taller than registered.
