Have a piece of 2" wide gloss Glacier White Corian fabricated and install it on top of the wall and Schluter with a 1/8" reveal.

This was the answer from the superintendent assigned to my project… ”That happens on every shower.. If it's big enough it gets fixed with drywall if it's small enough it gets filled with grout or grout caulk and then painted.”

Our edge was mostly blended into the adjacent wall with drywall compound when they finished the walls post-tile, and will get a bead of caulk right along the edge as the finish when the tile guy finally comes back for the caulking.

The proper way to fix that is to tear out the spot bonded tiles with no waterproofing, and redo the whole. Paying attention in the framing stage the next go around to be actually plumb and square. Wet areas require 95% coverage with thin set, and waterproofing. That doesnt come close to meeting standards.

@User I’m confused by your waterproofing comment(s). There is cement board behind the tile and the cement board has been waterproofed. You can see the red waterproofing in the picture on the back side of the shower.

@User, isn't red on the wall maybe waterproofing? It is really hard to tell from the pictures if it spot bonding or not, the only thing you can tell is, that it is not 100% coverage.

Tile contractor's perfect plumb schluter strip exposes out of plumb jamb corners, etc. (which is not unusual in this situation so it gets repaired)
