I think I’d remove the picture either way since it looks bigger than the tv and use it somewhere it’ll be appreciated.

Get a Samsung "The Frame" TV. Hang it on the wall with a low profile articulating mount. Move the painting to another wall. Maybe find some smaller pieces to do a display with "The Frame" TV.

Only difficulty I see there with putting the TV on the wall is the light switch. It might just be the perspective in the photo, but it looks like if you mount the TV in the center of the wall, it would either be right against the light switch (difficult to turn light on and off without hitting the tv and putting finger prints on it), or it might overlap the light switch.

Yeah, I'm waiting to have a built-in installed and will get one of The Frame TVs. I'll be replacing another perfectly functional TV, but not as sleek! I'm amazed at how "little" these large TVs cost these days ... we bought a 50" plasma TV when the technology was new and paid a fortune 18 years ago! We gave it to a friend a few years ago and it is still running!

The frame TVs are awesome. for us it solved the art vs tv above the fireplace debate. Tvs are so much less expensive than even a few years ago. I am debating getting the add on wood frame.
