New Foundation Wall Bowing-Help

We are putting an addition on home and the new foundation walls were recently completed. We noticed they were bowing when the forms came off and alerted our GC. He had the framer come out today and did a string test, stating there is only a 1” bow in the middle and that it will be fine to continue.

This is not settling well with us, this project is expensive and expansive and we do not want problems down the road. Shouldnt it be perfect? Looking for advice, thanks in advance!

Framers correct not straight foundations everyday, not an issue. Nothing in construction will be "perfect", need to get used to it and manage your expectations or you will make yourself crazy.

That looks to be more than an inch, but it's still not an issue. You're getting a view that no one else will ever see.

As long as the floor framing extends another 1" to cover it, there is no issue.

Curious as to where you are located, I haven't been to everywhere, but so far I have only seen the both-sides stamped brick-look forms used in certain pockets of areas.
