Your Jasmine is beautiful! Mine is blooming now, too, and making a great fragrance in the sideyard. I also have an incredible Scotch broom that smells like artificial grape dryer sheets! My Honeysuckle vine is starting to bloom now, too, and of course my Hoyas!!! I'll get more pics.

Don't have very many fragrant perennials. The honeysuckle and jasmine polyanthum finished blooming a while back. Couple of Miltoniopsis are still holding on to their blooms. Also have a small jasmine sambac in bloom. The gardenia has been holding on to a couple of buds for a long while but it is anybody's guess if they will bloom or the plants will die before then. Also have sweet peas, stocks, snapdragon and nicotianas in bloom. I have dozens of nicotianas tucked into just about every pot and am looking forward to many fragrant evenings. Some pics here, more will follow.

Hi Mike, check your email. My ponderosa lemon dropped all it's leaves for some reason and left a single fruit on one long bare stems. The fruit is a little smaller than a ping pong ball. I left the plant alone, outside in the sun, and not only has the lone fruit remained, but the branches have all put on new leaves and a couple of them have set fruit! So I think they're doing ok.

I though it was dropping leaves due to mites, which I could never see, so I sprayed the snot out of it. It was well watered, had plenty of sun living outside, but continued to drop leaves for some reason. Whatever it was, it seems to have recovered and is now doing well. Cant wait to see a real huge lemon form. How long does it take?

@Bill M., *most* citrus take 9 - 12 months to ripen.

The bigger the citrus, the longer it will take (as a general rule), so Ponderosa is definitely in the 1 year+ range. The smallest citrus, fingerlimes, take around half that time.

Yeah, the tree is doing great again. I have no idea why that happened, but whatever it was it now seems fine.

Bill. Thank god it did ok. Either you let the mix dry out too long or mites after a long season inside. I spray mine regularly to prevent them in everything. Mines is doing ok too. I will check my email and hopefully see yours after deleting hundreds of junk mail. Ugh. Hood you are doing ok )

Doing well Mike, thanks. I suspected mites but couldn't see any, and I did spray frequently. I'll go give is some more water and spray is again today. The one lemon didn't fall and now the branch is again covered in leaves. I also have several more lemons forming on lower branches which also have leaves, so at least I know the plant is making food.
