Trying again to post this- hope i get some feedback! I plan to have my two (red) living room chairs reupholstered, and not sure if I should go with a solid or print fabric. The sofa, rug, lamps and artwork are staying, and I am not asking for layout advice. I know the rug needs to be adjusted, but we just bought it in Morocco last month and placed it haphazardly. I am thinking about a black background with some orange and blue pattern (floral? birds?) to tie everything together, but am not sure if I’m on the right track. i am very open to any/all suggestions.

I also need to buy new dining chairs, as the current ones are boring, worn out and too large. I need something with fabric, but much more streamlined. I am open to comething in a vibrant color or more neutral. I’m including photos of living room, dining room and surrounding area to show the general vibe. Thanks so much!
