I'm in the process for making purchases for the finishes for my kitchen for a home that is being renovated. I have no pictures to show at this time. The flooring throughout the home will be light white oak, the island will be white oak and the cabinets will be painted a light taupe. I was considering Calacatta Gold Quartz and brass cabinet hardware, brass/glass pendant lighting and brass/gold kitchen faucet. Walls are white throughout the house, at least for now. There will be some matte black metals throughout the home as well, like in door knobs, etc. I like using different metals obviously.

Although I am typically not a matchy matchy person, my dilemma is selecting those brass/gold finishes for the kitchen and getting them to coordinate nicely. I like the Brizo Litze and Delta Trinsic faucets. Would it be too much to have a Polished Nickel faucet but have the cabinet hardware and lighting be satin/brushed brass? I once considered matte black island lighting and/or faucet but I'm afraid that will stand out too much and look out of place.
