Gimbals rotate to accent something towards the side of the light fixture. That would be silly to use gimbals everywhere just to have every light match.

#1, your lighting needs to coordinate with your soffits, of which you will have many from the other thread.

#2, the drawing is too small to read, but you have kitchen lights down the aisle instead of working to light up the counters where you actually perform work. In the Living and Family Rooms, you have a general grid which will light up areas of open floor and probably have some conflicts where some are located right over furniture.

#3, 98% of contractors and electricians don't know how to light spaces. They connect wires.

#4, whoever's idea of having a ceiling where mixing the appropriate style/size of light for it's intended purpose (with an aesthetic layout in mind) is correct. Just your placement needs reviewed.
