Off-center drain with console sink?

I currently have a pedestal sink, and I want to replace it with a console sink. The plumbing for the current pedestal sink is an inch off center for where we want it to be. (We replaced a recessed medicine cabinet above it some years back and had to widen the opening in one direction since the new cabinet was slightly bigger than whatever had originally been there, which had long since been removed with a mirror hung over the opening. We want the new sink centered under the cabinet.)

I know if I were to use a new pedestal sink, I'd need to move the drain line to have it in line with the column. But for a console sink, can I potentially use the existing plumbing? (Water lines are fine where they are.) If so, does an offset p-trap exist that would work for exposed plumbing, or is there better option? (I've hunted but not found a lot of options intended to be exposed; the current sink doesn't have a trap at all, which is part of why we are replacing it.)
