FFO's and lots of rain

We have had alot of thunderstorms with heavy rainfall the past couple of days so the trees and gardens are well watered by Mother Nature. Unfortunately the humidity stuck with us all that time but hopefully it will be less tomorrow on the 4th.

With its FFO this morning is ISLE OF PATMOS with a duo. Surprised it held up so well. I like seeing blooms with raindrops and it didn't effect this one. It was one of the ones that had foliage issues. Color is exactly as I see it in the garden. Plenty of scapes and buds to go.

EARTH AND ALL STARS - FFO bloomed 2 days ago and sits right next to IOP. It too has many scapes and buds and it also had the foliage issue. I think the color is lighter this year.

and I saw SPRING MYSTIQUE with a duo this morning. Had to snap a pic. Blooming on the shorter of 4 scapes. I moved it in the spring to a more sunny location. I love patterns so this fits well in my garden.

That is it so far for daylily blooms. Coneflowers, balloon flowers, coreospis, bee balm, lavender, phlox and yarrow continue blooming. Waiting for my hydrageas to start blooming so I can see exactly what I bought lol. Deer nipped off the flower buds last year.

I had a cloud with sprinkles!!! Only one rain event in June so I appreciate your rain for you! Looks like you have lots of buds coming for those first two. I like Isle of Patmos color and a really pretty picture of Earth and All Stars.

Lucky you, wiith all that rain! Isle of Patmos looks great, and I always love your photos of Spring Mystique. It sounds like you've done a good job of keeping the deer at bay this season.

We are in for the rest of the week with thunderstorms everyday. I know many of you wish for rain and I always say it is either feast or famine We are still in just the beginning of summer here and we could end up with lack of rain too at some point.

All 3 are gorgeous, but my favorite is Spring Mystique. I got some rain Saturday, still hoping for more. Chances of rain every day for next week, surely I will get a bit more.

I'm glad you got some good rain. We are still waiting on some. We had a little but not enough to make a difference.

Isle of Patmos is pretty--love the watermark. Spring Mystique has a beautiful pattern.

Spring Mystique does draw the eye, but Isle of Patmos is number one for me today. I'll have to look it up......Good deal on the rain. I think they predicted a cloud passing over us within a week or two here - no rain, just a cloud..............Maryl
