My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

General Contractor Recommendation in Arlighton Heights IL/Chicago Area

Hi everyone, thought I'd put my question out here. We have hired an architect as well as secured a land and are in the final stage of getting documents ready for permit. We are now searching for a GC and wondered if there are any recommendations on a good GC in the Arlington Heights Illinois area. Would love some recommendation for GCs that you've personally hired or friend that have hired. We are planning to build a 3,400 sq. ft. ranch home on a wide vacant land with a full basement (another 1,500 sq ft ish). This will be custom build. Any recommendations will be sincerely appreciated!!!

    I'm in Clarendon Hills, so a bit south of you, but in case it helps: I used Collins and Sarsfield for a large addition and extensive interior renovation (kitchen and 4 baths.) That was many years ago, but they've built several homes in the western suburbs more recently, including some for friends of mine. One of the business owners lives in Clarendon Hills, so his local reputation is important to him and he's very conscientious. If they don't do work in your area, they may know someone who does.
