First blooms on Saturday

A lovely day today, 80 degrees and sunny…….lots of wind again.

Dances with Giraffes started today. It is so windy my hubbie had to hold the scape so I could take a photo. It was added last season.

Neo Flamingo got going today. It was added last season, love it, the color is striking.

Baby Blue Eyes is blooming on short scapes this season, first time for short scapes.

Silky Skies started with double bloom today. This is the only Lambertson I have tried that likes my garden. It has been a bit slow, made great strides this season.

First bloom on Red Suspenders.

I finally have blooms on Divine Design, it took a couple years. I guess it didnt like being moved alot.

Your Silky Skies is always so pretty. Neon Flamingo color is always good. mine had bud drop during the heat and never gave a good bloom. Funny about Divine Design. Sometimes they just pout after a move, don’t they?

Neon Flamingo was new for me lss5 season too. This year it had some pretty blooms, not many buds though. I like your Silky Skies. I tend to like the look of Lambertson daylilies, but they often don't do well for me. When they are good though, they seem to be very good.

Neon Flamingo looks bright and beautiful. Wait until you have a clump of those. My clump was really pretty this year until the heat really took hold. I never did get a decent photo of the entire clump. I've always liked your Silky Skies, and Baby Blue Eyes does have wonderful colors!

That Neon Flamingo is gorgeous! Mine is not nearly so bright with the heat here, but I have always really liked it. Baby Blue Eyes is a pretty one and Silky Skies is a pretty one.
