That price, though! $2500 for the entry level 8x11, then $700 for the entry level 5' extension :-O

No one wants that! I had one and it ended up down the power line.

I would not call the Grow More greenhouse an entry level model. It comes with thicker and better insulated panels than I have seen on many commercial greenhouses, hinged Dutch door, automated roof vents, etc.. I started looking at cheaper aluminum greenhouses first like the Harbor Freight and Amazon models, but I ultimately settled on something that would last and not have to worry about flying away in a storm. A warranty longer than 90 days or 1 year is nice too.

But anyway. I meant "entry level" as in "their cheapest model" :-) Not as a comparison to other brands of greenhouses.

I'd like to have something in the 8x11' range, but it's hard to justify that much money for a hobby. I store some potted plants for the winter and start some seeds in February, that's about all I would need it for.

Sure. I get that. It may be more of an investment than many people want to make in a greenhouse. I was just explaining what drove me to my decision. I am an avid grower and spend a lot of time in my greenhouse because it is relaxing for me. Have been for years and plan to for years to come. I would probably not want to invest that much money into a greenhouse if I were just looking for something to overwinter some plants.

I enjoy working outside during the warm months to destress and get away from work, but for now, yeah, the greenhouse is mainly just to overwinter plants.

What I have now is really too small and wimpy, but the ones I'm seeing in the $200-500 price range don't seem much better! They all have rough reviews, and I don't want to waste that much money if it ends up being no better (or even worse) than what I already have.

It's entirely possible that I'd spend more time in one if it were larger and better, so I guess that's a catch 22, ya know? I won't know if the expense is justified until I spend it! LOL
