It looks good with the balloon flowers. I'm always surprised by how much darker it is for you.

Debra: it typically blooms this color but when we get 90 degrees and sun from sunrise to sunset, it does fade just a bit. I think my soil may be contributing partly to the color I get here.

Julia - It's nearly always in the 90s when DV blooms here. Are you in the 80s now? If so that must be heavenly. We've been in the mid-90s all week and tomorrow will be 97. It looks like the rest of July will be in the mid to high 90s here.

Debra: We've been hovering between 89 and 90 with morning temps between high 60's to low 70's. Starting this weekend and for the rest of the comig week they are saying 90's with storms. I can't believe everything they predict.

That is pretty together. My DV does change it's color. Heat of course affects it, but sometimes it just seems to have a mind of its own....... We are having forecasts of possible temperatures going over the 110 mark this coming week and the poor thing still has buds on it. I'm glad I'm not a plant..............Maryl
