Any thoughts?

Are you thinking of painting the beadboard Chelea gray to match the washer and dryer? Gray dosen’t seem to suit the warm finishes on the floor and countertop. I love the idea of the painted beadboard, though. Can you post a photo of the new washer and dyer? Perhaps there’s a better color than Chelsea Gray to integrate them to the room. If Chelsea Gray is a good match, then a rug with both gray and the warmer tones in the room will make it all come together nicely.

@ffpalms thanks for your reply! I'm not particulary tied to any color tbh. The hallway that is outside the laundry room and the common areas (kitchen/LR) in our house are painted Revere Pewter so just want to try to compliment those with the bead board color- totally open to other suggestions! Here is a photo of the laundry room taken tonight (pardon the tools and Kevin the cat lol). This was taken tonight with just the flourescent lights, so not the best photo.

I would start by browsing for a rug that pulls in some of your known colors, such as the countertop, washer and dryer, wood tone, and hall paint. Once you find a rug you love, you can pull in a color from it for your beadboard and walls. Here’s a rough example.

There’s a ”dark and moody” article in Latest Stories today with this image. The colors and painted paneling reminded me of your laundry room. I thought you might find it inspiring.

@ffpalms so funny that you posted this. I have actually considered painting the beadboard dark like that. All our the doors and windows in our house are painted the dark brown/bronze color you see in the first photo (you can see part of the laudry door).

With the ceilings being 9 feet and the beadboard going up to six feet, do you think it would be too dark to do this? I suppose I could reduce the height of the beadboard but I do like when it's tall. What do you think? Thanks so much for your thoughts!!

Wow! With that huge window bringing in so much light, I would be very tempted to go with your dark color on the bead board. I can picture that with the white cafe curtains you’re considering.
