Hi! I'm struggling and looking for opinions on how to tie the top left corner together. I want a low profile mantle around the gas fireplace. But am afraid that if the mantle goes the entire length of the top fireplace wall, it will bump into the bottom of the built in cabinet doors on the left built-ins. And if it extends fully to the right, then it’ll be a knee knocker if you’re coming from the wet bar (top right). So not really sure what we can do from a design perspective. I am trying to have it be flush with the wall, and keep the low profile mantle just a few inches on each side of the fireplace, but feel like there can be something better. Do I need a pop-out for the fireplace to break up the wall? Any ideas please?
