VV, looks to me to be Acer rubrum var parkinglotum.

There are more than a few participants here that have planted a LOT of trees, and probably more than average in numbers of Acer rubrum clones.

This tree is in New Jersey; it looks to be a commercial planting site. I suspect maybe 5 common choices in Red Maple selections would be opportunistically available. I think it is one. How about you?

Based on leaf size/shape and growth habit I'd say October Glory would be a likely suspect, especially since it is probably one of the most widely planted cultivars in the OP's region. In my area, October Glory colors later than most of the rubrums (peak color typically in early November).

I didn't post mine, it was Acer rubrum 'swagsium'. lol
