I have guests coming to my new house tomorrow and I'm trying to throw together my guest room as quickly as possible. I am trying to figure out the best way to position this rug. Since company is coming so soon, buying a new rug is not an option (although new bedding is on the way). The bed is full size and the rug is 5x8. Should I have it just under the foot of the bed as shown in the picture or should I turn it the other way and have the rug completely underneath the bed? If I do that, is it strange to have the fringe going vertically instead of horizontal? Another option is to put it going vertically in the space in front of the bed closest to the door.
(I know the drawings in the pictures are silly, but the bed is very heavy and I don't want to go through the trouble of moving the rug underneath if it doesn't make sense to have the tassels going vertically anyway.)
