”wall in the Bo” presumably Bo is back? Is your 2nd photo a view at the right side of the closet space looking toward the back? The exhaust duct goes through the closet ceiling at the right back corner?

People often fail to consider the extra 4 inches (or a bit more) depth required behind a dryer for the exhaust duct. There are slim adjustable periscope connectors but that may not work for your route if it’s through the ceiling.

1. What you're calling a "hose" is duct that vents the dryer.
2. From the installation manual page 11: "To ensure sufficient clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1'' (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4'' (10 cm) behind the appliance."
3. According to the installation manual page 18: "The appliance is configured to vent to the rear. It can also vent to the side." Side venting would allow the appliance to be pushed closer to the rear wall. If your closet is wide enough you could do side-vent it but remember that you'll have to attach the duct to the appliance before you push it into the closet so you'll need sufficient space on the right-hand side for the duct to clear the closet opening when its sitting partially outside the closet.
4. If you change to side-venting, use hot and cold water hoses with elbows (example).
