Our pool company took care of everything you mentioned except for the concrete surround and walkways and landscaping which we contracted ourselves.

Most pool companies are equipped to do all the planning but the first step for you is to find out if you can have a pool . Some lots are not able to handle an in ground pool because of sewer lines or gas lines so start there. We had to put an above ground one in because we have 2 serwer lines and no way to have a pool in ground.

I’m sure we can have one on that front. All services are in the front yards. There are no lines in the back. We are zoned to be allowed to have one and the address look up for our city shows nothing in back yard.

I am biased but I would hire a landscape designer who could help you to locate the pool, and design the hardscaping and plantings around it. If they have enough experience, they may be able to help you to coordinate the other players involved. Don't let the pool contractor tell you where the pool should go without a plan for the whole space!

Ironic timing I just heard from one of the local companies and he actually suggested and landscaper and a landscape designer as the starting point.

I curious where folks think a smaller pool would/could go on our lot. Here is a pic from the deck as well as from the yard. Open to redoing the deck and stair location as well as the lower paver patio. Also fine leaving as is. Pool cannot go in front of the sunken area as there is a rockpit there.

Well that’s dead in the water. We actually can’t have a pool above ground or in ground because of the creek. The pool would need to be 15 m from the creek and that puts it essentially where the paver patio is so not really realistic.
