What was the reason for the tan at all? I see posts and patio that do not work together IMO redo the patio to go with the new wall and the posts .

Adding a patio is expensive enough without adding the expense of replacing an existing one. There are so many paver colors available that you should be able to find something to pick up both the tan and the grey. Adding a border around your existing patio to complement the tan could work also. Jointing sand between pavers can also be used to pick up one color over another. We have a raised covered concrete patio that was part of the original build. We added a paver patio off of it and I was worried also about what color to use because the concrete was grey and our house is tan. Went with a unilock paver in the color river rock that blended both colors and used a border paver that picked up the concrete color. IMO it works very well. Just a note- any paver you seal will have a more intense color to it. If you look at pictures on Houzz and other websites, you’ll find inspiration. Visit websites of paver manufacturers and local landscapers for some ideas also. Even look at how outdoor fireplaces and fire pits are done in different paver colors than the patio.

I would pour and stamp more concrete rather than transition to pavers.
