Looking for rug, barstool, coffee table suggestions please

Lower level of summer home in need of a new rug and bar stools. Previous rug was 9x12. Uphostered furniture will stay as it’s in great shape and only used 5 months a year. The space is used for work and entertaining. Thank you!

I'd go with an indigo blue rug to inject some color into that scheme. Maybe something with an ikat or other ethnic pattern. Like these, perhaps?
