It can depend a bit on what the humidity is when the dehydrator is set at 95. Like when it's 95 and humid outside, herbs dry sloooowwwwww, even with a good breeze. Same can go for your dehumidifier. I often start basil at 95, then finish at 105 for however long it takes when it's humid out.

Ok, thank you. I think the humidity is 115% today, so that’s probably part of the problem. I just checked the interior temp, and it’s again 10 degrees colder than the setting. I think this has been my problem with being able to successfully dehydrate anything so far!

basil takes really long for me, too!

I read too late that you're supposed to cut/break the vein of larger basil leaves so that they're able to dry faster.
