My peppers show splotches of purple when the weather is cold.

How cold? We have not been below 58?

Getting some purple on peppers isn't odd and isn't anything to worry about.

However, sad to tell you, but I don't think those peppers are minibell. minibell are more round. They look more like a Jalepino-type. Are they hot?

Harris Pepper Sweety F1 are supposed to be small pointed peppers, not sure why you are calling them "minibells", they are probably better than bells. The purple is probably not unusual and fine to eat. Will turn all red eventually.

The problem is some sort of disease, which you have asked about before. The yellow caged plant seems to be growing fine otherwise. Yes, it might slowly spread. You could pull the worst plants, but then you could still get some good peppers. You only have about 6 weeks left of the growing season. Remove the plants/ leaves at the end of the season, plant a different crop in that space next year, you will probably be fine next year.

😊 I'm not a big fan of Bell Peppers of any size, so I'm thinking these will be better... being sweet.
