Handrails aren't bought with curved ends: the return to the wall at each end is typically nailed and glued to the ends of the rail. You should be able to have a 45 degree cut made at each end and add a short length of the same profile that is cut to butt into the wall. What the code requires is that there not be a rail end like you have that can catch clothing. I'm guessing that you don't have the tools (finishing nail gun, compressor, and chop saw) or experience to do this, but a good handyman or finish carpenter should be able to fix this easily.

You can easily find this rail pretty much anywhere even in any box store this is a standard oval railing it looks like 1-1/4" X 2-1/4" you can look in the cart where people do all the cuts you might find it there you only need a 12" piece because each piece is usually 3" from the wall to the outer miter.
