Induction cookware overwhelm!

We are nearing the end of our kitchen remodel, which includes installing a new Bosch induction range. It’s our first time using induction, and I will need new pots and pans. I’ve been researching the best brand of pots and pans to buy, and am overwhelmed with all the choices! I’d love to know what your favorite brand is and why, as well as any you’ve tried and haven’t liked. Thank you!

What pieces from your old cookware did you use the most?Are you insistent on non-stick cookware?

Posters here frequently advise not to buy an entire set because you often end up with pieces that don't meet your needs. But I bought a stainless, layered disc bottom Kirkland set years ago when I dumped my cheap, warped aluminum stuff after a kitchen remodel & was glad that I went that route. It was a chance to try various cooking tools for a budget price. Still have the sauce pots, but have moved on to old cast iron for skillets & griddles & Dutch ovens. My DIL gave me a nice 12 qt Tramontina clad stock pot, which I love -- light weight, much quieter on induction than my Kirkland disc pots (which aren't too bad, just a quiet "tsssk" noise). It works very well for oven simmering. If I replace the old Kirkland pots (the handles are rounded & slippery), I'll look into Tramontina's offerings. I recently got a Tramontina 4 qt enameled cast iron braiser that is very nice with induction. Couldn't pass up the $33 price at Costco.

I have IKEA 365+ skillets plus other IKEA pots but if I were buying today I'd get HEMKOMST because of the useful glass lids and built-in strainers. The measurements written inside the pots are also very useful.

Do a search in houzz discussion for induction cookware there are many discusions on this topic there is a cookware forum i have pieces in cuisinart multi clad pro all clad d5 demeyre industrial sur la table scan pan enameled cast iron and regular cast iron ikea they all perform well demeyre is my favorite for stainless but $$$ my cuisinart cooks almost or as well see what styles u like and only buy the pieces u need and within ur budget

Some may like HexClad for its very durable surface; I have the griddle pan. demeyere anti-stick pans work well and are fairly resistant to plastic utensil marks. For pots I have fairly old 'pseudo All Clad' style by Emeril.
