We really need and appreciate any help you can provide.
We are doing major refreshing- new porch, board and batten, paint, door, windows across the front of house. Eventually we will get to the driveway, landscaping , mailbox. We are trying to figure out the color for the front door and where to place our house numbers(3#s).

1. Door: The door Is fiberglass and has grooves in a square pattern across the front and back sides. We thought we would specifically stain the grooves black to echo the new black framed windows and we’re deciding on whether to stain the door a walnut or something darker like a Jacobean or paint the entire door the same color as the brick which is Urbain bronze — a very dark bronze.( But this would do away with the special design element of the grooved square pattern in this fiberglass door). We were really also playing around with the idea of a red door with the black grooves but thought it would be a little too much/ busy for the house? Thoughts?
   *The lights on each side of the door were just installed, but they are a bit too high and will be brought down. They will be dimmed as well.
2. We decided on large bronze 8” numbers (3#s), but we can’t decide where to place them so that they have the most visibility at night. The far left is the side of the garage and already has a flood light activates on motion. But that won’t help when driving past the house so we thought a solar uplight might work in whatever turns out to be the right location. (The broken driveway will be removed and a planting area close to the garage so the solar light may be able to go there pointed upward on the house)
