I like my pulls centered in both directions for drawers, unless it is a trash cabinet, or paneled appliance, which need to be positioned properly for that particular function.

Personally, in kitchens, I prefer knobs for upper cabinets and pulls for drawers.

There are some basic "rules", but it is mostly personal preference. I would do slightly longer pulls on the drawers you show in the diagram.

either way of placing pulls is "correct", just depends on your style. Some people prefer pulls not be in the middle of the drawer because then they don't have to bend quite as much to open the bottom drawers.

I would consider making the handles longer, though, to be more in proportion to the drawer sizes.

Height-wise, centered on the thinest drawer, all other drawers the same distance from the top if the drawer front to the centerline of the pull as it is on the thinest drawers. Start there and adjust as needed.

We did it the way Mark describes, but it is really personal preference, especially if you have all slab drawers with no rails to worry about. The only real "rule" is to make them consistent, however you choose to do it.

I did mine centered from too and sides on all drawers. Appeases my need for symmetry. I personally wouldn’t like it if the bottom two drawers had pulls closer to the top. Obviously, this is all preference.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I was fine with either placement. My husband prefers the centered pulls, so we will go with that.

I did hear from several of you that we should use longer pulls. I have done some research and think that is a good idea. There are bigger sizes available in the style we chose, so I need to figure out which size to pick. I am going to start a new thread on pull size and another on my floating shelves.
