Need window design help please!

We are replacing most of the windows in our 1930 bungalow in Albany, CA, near Berkeley. Because of the timeline and budget of our project, we will be using either Simonton Daylight or Milgard Ultra 650. I am new to window selection and am trying to make choices in keeping with the house design and the windows we are keeping. Also, this home is very close to its neighbors, so the view out of many windows is an outside wall of the house next door. I was thinking that adding more interest/grids might be best when the view isn't great, but would love to hear opinions on that.

There are two windows in particular where I have questions about a fit with the room's other windows/doors.

The first is this dining room window currently with a fixed middle pane and 2 sliders. It's 65" x 53"

On the wall to the left of the window is an original built-in wood cabinet which we plan to keep:

And on the wall to the right is an old single hung window which we plan to replace:

Do you think it's important to reflect the grids on the built-in cabinet doors in grids on the windows?

The second window I could use some help envisioning is in the living room. It's 30" x 53. We're assuming the original window was a single hung, replaced by the Jalousie sometime in the 70s.

Next to this window is the original door, which we are keeping:

The adjacent wall has this large window looking out to the street, which we are keeping:

and on the opposite wall is the fireplace with 2 fixed windows, which we are keeping:

I am flummoxed by what we should replace the jalousie with which won't stick out like a sore thumb among the other wood windows and door in the same room. Especially since we don't have time or budget for wood windows. Some might say we should wait until we can afford and order wood windows, but for many personal reasons I won't go into here, waiting is not feasible.

I would so appreciate anyone's thoughts or advice. If you have photos of how you solved a similar dilemma, I would love to see them! Let me know if I need to post other pictures or details.
