What does "modern" mean to you, can you post some pictures of rooms you like?

Where is the "office area"? and can you post pictures from the other side of the room as well?

Have you thought about painting the table and chairs?

Modern to me is black accents anytbing really. office area is in the second picture its currently the ugly beige filing cabinet right now but i will put a desk beside it. need to figure out what to fill these big walls with. where should i put that mirror? thanks

IMO an office has to function so waht do you NEED in the office . Have you gone wirelss for most things? I need more info . Do you constantly need files ? IMO that could go in a clset if you do not need files constantly. Is this work office or a home office ?What does the desk look like?IMO too little info for any real help.

I would center the table under the center light, put the office space where the table is now. ditch the filing cabinet and get a desk that has a filing drawer. move the umbrella photo and hang the mirror there to reflect light from the windows. IMO this is a traditional house, with traditional furniture throughout. bringing a lot of black accents is not going to make it modern.

Here are a select few dining room designs and a home office design we have completed for clients. We think adding a chandelier over the dining table you acquire and adding a rug under it will also work well. We think having the desk facing the window might work well too.
