Hello all - Have had this huge blonde coffee table since the mid 1980s . I’d like to
refinish the top and stain it to a slightly darker tone . The zig-zag wood pattern is lovely but has me concerned - will sanding disrupt the grain too much ?
Do I need to strip it first then sand or is sanding alone enough?
Your advice greatly appreciated- am a total newbie at this .
