Yes!

Maple cabinets are fine. Some people don't like maple; others don't like oak; others don't like whited painted.

As long as you are doing this for yourself.

If you are doing it just for resale, then my advice would probably be to do nothing and let the buyer deal with it!

I say if you like maple, then put in maple! We are currently purchasing a home with maple cabinets and I think they are beautiful!
