Why not real stone it will stand up to it all. I have a 19MM thick piece of glass on my outdoor dining table it has been outdoors for 20 yrs and still going strong We had it in Calgary where winters went to - 40 many times .And now here where it goes to +40 Celsius not sure id fake plastic would have help up to that. Glass is cut to size at any glass shop but maybe ask a quartz shop about the use outside.

Yes, there is an issue with quartz outside. The resin is not designed for exterior exposure. It fades horribly.

We wanted quartz for a bar top outside but were told the same thing, it’s not meant for outside. We used granite instead.

It is covered, but we live in south Florida so excessive heat lol. But yes, it has been great.

Engineered stone slabs can't even be stored outside without protection, according to manufacturers. The sun would destroy an engineered stone top in a single Florida season. Resinated natural stone will suffer the same fate, it'll just take longer.

That was mt thought until I went on line and more than one fake stone company said no issues , my gut still says real stone.

I highly suggest Dekton, it is the only company that will warranty the top in our weather. Quartz and granite will not have any warranty. That being said, there are a lot of commercial / hospitality companies that have outdoor furniture with tops. Just read the fine prints : )
