Hoping someone may have a solution!

I just did a maintenance clean of our new washer and noticed a ton of powder under the dispenser. I cleaned it all out and figured that my husband may have overloaded it or something.

I just ran a new wash and had put one scoop of Nellie’s powder in. It’s basically a tablespoon and most of it is basically still in the machine.

Why is the powder under the dispenser instead of being put into the machine as required? This is a drawer for powder so for the cost of these machines I expect to be able to use powder and not have to ut it in the drum.

Is it a settings thing? Is the water pushing in too high pressure?
