Yes, Preto doesn't look ripe, I do end up with some figs like that as season ending, some are not that bad.

We are lucky this September, last 2 years second half of night temps in August was cold enough to start shuffling figs in garage.

Last ripe figs

This fig just fell to the ground as it was not there earlier and was oticed when our Yorkie went to it just little while ago.

Anyways i took picture then ate it.

Similar to first preto fig eaten in thread it seems they have a slight tartness to it unlike madeira , cravens or tuscan figs eaten recently

Have to say though in its defense the cravens tuscan and madeira are from last season as this preto is this season old so time will tell .

The other preto plant same age as this one has a fig almost ready and the only fig on plant.
