I think you will need grow lights, mirrors, and white backdrops.

I know of nothing that grows in deep shade. Everybody likes the sun; well, at least the morning/coolest sun.

I should add, lack of direct sun isn't a killer. If just exposed to a lot of the sky, many greens will do OK, even if sunlight isn't hitting them directly. On cloudy days, they'll get just as much light as anyone else, and cloudy days don't kill plants. You can grow greens on the north side of a wall. Where you get into trouble is where the plants are shaded both from direct sunlight and the sky.

Where are you located?

Here in hot humid Florida, I move my herbs into shady spots to keep them going during the heat of the summer. I've managed to keep my flat leaf parsley and basil growing that way. The shade is from trees, tho, so it's broken, not complete.

Is there a spot where plants can get morning or late day sun, or is it completely shaded?

I think you may have to situate your herb containers out from under the porch overhang.

You seem more concerned with design and aesthetics. You could easily find areas that get more sun around the house, or move containers around to get sun.
