I agree with the above comment completely. You could also consider a half glass exterior door where the top is almost all window. That pane looks like stained glass only all clear and has pieces of beveled glass to obscure vision. Depending on budget, you might also add a matching side light panel for even more natural light. If budget is tight perhaps paint the main door a different color and paint the garage door the same color as the wall to help it disappear

A runner that "shows the way" toward the exit might help. 3 white doors are like a wall of closet doors, the way it is.

The furniture arrangement can be used to create a "foyer." We'd need more pix to help with that.

Garage entrance could use a 'wipe feet' mat too. Idk but maybe 10' covers all 3 doors?

Could you scoot the sofa in towards the room a little? If so, you could put a narrow sofa table behind it with some storage underneath. The bench in the corner looks cramped. With a runner and a new front door with lights, it might all help.

Replace the bench with one that has storage cubbies underneath, ora taller console with drawers.

There are a few ways you might be able to fix your issue. We suggest looking at getting a front door with glass in it, that would help the light issue. Then you might be able to move the sofa forward some and add a sofa table behind the sofa, or a bench, as a place to drop things or take off shoes. Then perhaps try adding a runner as well.
