Sorry to see your plant is still showing signs of ongoing fungus spreading. It can take some time and many repeated treatments for the plant to fully recover, most of all when starting the treatment late after the disease starts to show. If you noticed some improvement after treatment, keep treating like every 2 weeks or even 5-7 days for major infections.

Regarding cutting leaves or part thereof, I do this on my plants because fungi in existing spots release spores that can spread to other parts of the plant and other plants. In your environment, the spores are likely everywhere and can cause more damage anytime on stressed plants. Fortunately, different species are more or less prone to infection, but it is likely it will come back once a plant goes through a round of infection, so continued preventive treatment can help as well (like 2 or 3 time a year or at first signs of new spots).

Don't give up. Your plant may look unattractive for a while but new leaves will grow...

Also, which treatment did you go for? sometimes one has to go with the big guns like Ortho Max as suggested by another poster

Yes, I used an Ortho Max, but only once. After that was using neem oil. Probably need to get serious again with the serious stuff. If I understand you Alan, I SHOULD cut the leaves off this plant due to spores spreading even more? Even the top leaves that haven't opened are having some of the dark spots at the top now.

This plant has it pretty bad so if it were mine, I would cut out most of the parts that have the darkest and newest lesions (even on the top leaves that are not opened yet), but someone may step in with other suggestions. Even if you manage to stop the spreading, dried up lesions are here to stay which is not sightly anyway. Make sure you leave enough healthy leaf surfaces though so the plant can still function and grow to produce new leaves. Use a very clean and sharp knife/blade to make very clean cuts.
