Miele condensation dryer T8023C not drying as well

I have a Miele condensation dryer T8023C. Lately it has not been drying as well and stops the dry cycle when clothes are a tiny bit damp, something which it didn't do before. The setting I use is Normal + Gentle + Anti-crease + Extra Dry.

I cleaned out the condenser but it didn't help much. Any ideas what may be going on before I attempt to pay for professional help (and not even sure how helpful that will be because there isn't much in terms of Miele support where I live)?

The unit is almost 7 years old and gets used every other day.

You could try cleaning the moisture sensors. Mineral deposits, detergent and fabric softener can build up over time and decrease the sensitivity of the sensor.

(Un-)fortunately with Miele, the sensors are the metal strips in the drum vanes (in one or two of them)... and the entire drum.

I'd probably go for the metal strips in the vanes first before wiping down the entire drum. A cloth and some all-purpose cleaner or rubbing alcohol can be used to clean the sensors.

Alternatively, the sensitivity can be adjusted, so each level becomes 1% drier. Instructions are in the user manual.
