Please post a to scale floor plan showing all windows doorways where the doorways lead and if the plumbing cannot be moved show that. #Ds are hard to get a feel for the actual space

Duplicate thread.

I think the peninsula is crowding the space. I would prefer to lose the peninsula. Is the doorway on the range wall a necessity? If not, I would close that and do a a nice u shape kitchen, but flip fridge and range

I vote for losing the peninsula. Your not losing that much counter space or storage space. It will make getting to be built in bench easier, so getting to the storage underneath will be easier. The way it will open up the kitchen and make the entire space one room would be worth it.

I vote for the stove on the back wall and the fridge on the side wall. More people got to the kitchen for something from the fridge than anything else and this can interrupt the cook.

If possible to block the doorway as rtpaige03 suggest, I would.

Here is a photo with walls and dimensions. Thank you all for your suggestions so helpful!
I was thinking peninsula just to break up the long narrow space, I’m a little worried when I pull down the wall it will look like a long narrow bowling alley 😂 also I can’t turn my table the other direction because it blocks the exterior door.

I think if you are opening it up you might as well get the benefit of it! otherwise you are opening it up then blocking it off again so you are nearly back where you started in terms of flow. i don’t think the appearance will be a problem.

This is what Patricia is asking for (and I agree - we need it):
