Do you have an architect involved in the project?

Your metal roofing manufacturer should have standard details for rakes. They probably even have a prefab shape for that. There are also standard details for the ridge.

Since you have no leverage, and your contract is probably very non-specific, I don't know how you'd get it changed.

I watched all the videos, I know what the difference between the standing seam roof and expose fasteners, i know quite a lot of details about the standing roof installation, and now I know that my roof is not installed properly. I think the builder/general contractor should not have approve this job as done. There are many other thinks they now are asking the roofer to fix after the siding installer refused to put the siding. The builder says that the instalation (exposed screws through the roof and seems, no gable rake or other trim ) is acceptable, and I've got a standing seam metal roof. How much trouble the exposed fasteners will couse mu, how much less the roof will last? We were paying more for the metal silver roof to have it more environment friendly, long lasting, recyclable, reflecting the heat and reducing overheating of the urban area.

What manufacturer is it? I used Fabral Horizon S which is similar. They have 2 rake details, neither of which has fasteners in the drainage plane. I allowed exposed fasteners at the ridge cap as I didn't like their detail and the fasteners were on the rib like yours. I don't see that the roof panel is wrapped over a trim at the eave in your photos. Is that their standard detail?
