Will this living room TV set up work?

This is the only place in our apartment for TV watching and this layout affords a view of the Manhattan skyline. We’re hanging stunning artwork above the buffet so a TV doesn’t dominate the room. Plus, a TV needs to sit lower than the buffet to be the right viewing height from the low MCM sofas.

What if we get the below TV and media stand with wheels and place them where the tall white cabinet is near the windows? (We’re getting rid of the tall cabinet.) I’d wheel the cart in and out nightly so it sits in front of the buffet for watching.

Reviews say the wheels work well transitioning from carpet to wood. But the TV legs are skimpy and I worry it will tip when I’m wheeling. Any thoughts on if this will work or is there something else I should try?

Hmm, to be quite honest, it doesn't seem to me as the most ideal solution. And I'm saying this purely out of aesthetic reasons. From what I've seen the TV in most cases is set in the middle of the room, and in your case, that would be right onto the buffet. To me, it just doesn't seem natural to remove the TV from there and put an artwork instead. Also, putting your TV on the side will not be practical, as per the position of the furniture. Maybe you can think of an option to put the TV on the buffet and the artwork on the opposite wall from where you've put the TV?

Here's a pic of the artwork for over the buffet when it was in our former house. It's the ones with the woman and angel in browns and blues. The colors are amazing with the buffet.

Moving a 50” TV around on a cart is a disaster. Try sliding the buffet to the left and mount TV on wall to the left. Put artwork on wall behind sofa opposite the TV wall.

Can the sofas face each other and chair moved next to buffet..than add art over buffet and mount tv on the other wall where sofa was

I theory the sofas could face each other but the sofa that is currently across from the TV is placed there because it has a fantastic view of the Manhattan skyline that you don't get from anywhere else in the room. I don't want to lose that view.

Thanks for the reality check that moving around a TV on a that cart would be a disaster. I don't love but also don't entirely hate this kind of easle cart, though the TV doesn't seem like it can go low enough for comfortable viewing from a low MCM sofa. Do you think rolling this would be a disaster too?

Found another easel on etsy, far more attractive and reviews say it wheels smoothly. I think this walnut color would blend in with other furniture.

Maybe invest in a cabinet where the tv comes up from inside the cabinet for tv viewing.
