I'm hoping to attach a Free Little Library cabinet (e.g., community book share) to an existing 6x6 post. I attached a picture of the post. The issue is, I'm not sure how to attach the cabinet without cutting the post down to size. I would like to keep the post as is, and just attach to the existing length. I also attached a sample picture of a Free Little Library cabinet for reference. How would I go about doing this? I haven't been able to find any pictures online of what it would look like or how to support the load. My husband is "handy" and can do as told. Thanks!!
